I bought this last year when I lost my momentum one and a half volumes in to my first attempt at 'In Search of Lost Time'. I must admit Alain didn't quite manage to get me started again, but he did make me smile, and he is responsible for my not giving up on Proust and his never-ending sentences (not to mention novel) entirely - I will definitely pick up where I left off one of these days, and I WILL make it all the way to the end of 'Time Regained'... Don't watch this space, it could take a while
