Hard to decide if this should be "literature" or just mystery and thriller. Lord Peter Whimsey is something special and Sayer's writing assumes the reader is an intelligent one.

What a wonderful surprise! I received 14 Lord Peter Wimsey books in the mail today that I did not realize were coming. (I had put in a request but thought the forum post said they were going to someone else.)

Stories of Lord Peter Wimsey and of Montague Egg. Labeled volume number 14. I'll read these in order and then send them all on to kestralwing in Bellingham, WA.
