2 journalers for this copy...

Journal Entry 1 by futurecat from Christchurch, Canterbury New Zealand on Saturday, September 22, 2007
From the Timaru Red Cross booksale, bought specifically for bookcrossing.
A second copy of a fabulous book that's staying in my permanent collection, mainly because of the huge influence it had on my life (I chose my major on the basis of it!), but also because it's still worth dipping into from time to time.

Great content, I always wanted to read this classic Carl Sagan.
Unfortunately the physical book itself is not such a good experience --- the paperback binding has disintegrated completely and now I am faced with loose clumps of pages falling everywhere, making it a bit of a saga to read, especially in bed. When I have finished, will have to see if I can find a better copy as substitute.

Well, finished and a very good read. But sad to say Mr Sagan is now in very poor nick, in fact about 10 bundles of pages of various sizes plus misc individual pages. Oh well, I guess paperbacks were really only meant to be read once and then thrown away. So Mr Sagan will have to rest up a while until I can find another copy of him to take up the cudgels.
