Het Engelse dorpje Sittaford ligt onder een dik pak sneeuw. In Sittaford House zitten zes mensen om een ronde tafel en proberen geesten op te roepen.
De tafel beweegt en spelt: Trevelyan - dood - moord.
Eerst denkt iedereen aan een smakeloze grap, maar dan wordt kapitein Trevelyan gevonden, met ingeslagen schedel...

I found the book at the library. It was waiting to be caught at the desk of the library worker.

I found the book in the library of Stabroek. A few days later I went with a friend to Antwerp for a shopping trip and we left the book by a friendly Americain copple having lunch in the same restaurant we were. They promised us to take it with them and leave it behind in Brugge or the US.
