Morning Comes Softly (Harper Monogram)
10 journalers for this copy...
I love Debbie Macomber. She is a local author and many of her stories take place here. I rec'd this from my friend Sue and will add it to my giant TBR pile.
When 3 orphans are taken in by their bachelor, rancher uncle in Montana, they find that they may soon become wards of the state. A personal ad for a wife saves them, as a lonely, spinster librarian joins their family. Out of Macombers norm this did not take place in Washington. I am making it a bookray. Feel free to drop me a line so that you can take part. Very enjoyable.
Offering as a bookray.

Journal Entry 5 by kobie03 from Lewins Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador Canada on Saturday, February 23, 2008
Book arrived yesterday and I immediately started reading it. I needed a Macomber pick-me-up on a stormy Feb day. I wasn't disappointed, I loved this warm delightful story of family and new beginnings especially the part the children take in the story. Thanks so much for sharing and warming my heart on a snowy weekend.
I'll send it on as soon as I have an address.

Arrived today thanks Kobie03. LOVED the card - the dogs are gorgeous and the scenery doesn't look too bad either.
Should be able to get onto it right away as I'm trying to be really good with bookrings; not sign up for too many and keep them moving.
Your parcel wrapping was masterly - no crooks would have been able to get at the contents at all.

Turned out not to be quite to my taste. I'm posting it off today to Anglersrest together with a few bitties for the London convention.
Thanks for the opportunity to read it. I find the ability to start a book but feel free to make a conscious decision not to continue is a real benefit I've gained from BookCrossing.
Kobie's gorgeous dogs are staying with me though. Loved them.

As I had to spend 4 hours on the train today, I thought that I would read a light enjoyable book to ease the journey.
Travis is grieving for the loss of his brother and sister in law. Now the sole guardian of his two nephews and a neice Travis realises that if he can not find a housekeeper he should advertise for a wife. Mary replies to the advert. A slightly frumpy librarian, who does not want to be left on the shelf. Following their marriage, Mary and Travis realise that they do love each other and the children.
This has a different slant to many of Macomber books, but what a lovely way to spend a train journey!
Just about to PM southernfryed

Received today - thank you Anglersrest.
*Waves to sherlockfan* - small world, as usual!
Anglersrest sent me southernfryed's address, so I will be able to get this in the post as soon as I've read it. I have another book to finish so this book might actually go as my reading book to the 2008 Convention! Don't worry, I won't leave it there by mistake...
Thanks for including me in the ring, top-tappser. Oh, and I'm a librarian (but not a spinster, last time I looked...)

Oooh this was lovely! Yes, it was pinned on a romance basis - a marriage of convenience between a tough Montana cowboy and a small Louisiana librarian, but there was, as is usual with Macomber, so much more to it. I couldn't put it down. She gets her characters so believeable, and their reactions to each other. Marvellous stuff.
Thank you so much for fitting me in to the BookRing. AnglersRest (see you tomorrow!) sent me Southernfryed's address, so I will get this mailed tomorrow. Cheekily, I can even use it in this week's Never Judge A Book By Its Cover challenge, as the cover features a farm building!

Received this in today's mail. (Thanks Southernfryed)! I'm excited to get started on it right away!
I also really enjoyed this book and the characters. I felt as if the romance part of it was a little on the predictable side, but I liked the little twist she puts into it which gave it a nice surprise. (That's all I can say without spoiling anything). :-)
PMing next on the list.

Book arrived here in Hazleton, Pa. 6/26/08. I've started reading it. I've never read anything by this authorand I must say I like her writing style. I'm enjoying the story.
This was an unusual romance. Where two people are so unalike. Travis and Mary and the three children are so heartwarming. Quite an unusual twist to the ending.
Arrived safely today! I will start this one tonight, looking forward to reading this one.
I loved this book! I haven't found a novel by Debbie Macomber that I haven't liked yet. Not really surprised by the end, sort of figured it out, but still a great little read! Thank you so much for sharing I will put the book as available as I have a number of friends who like to read these novels.
