A Murder mystery with a few twists and turns. James also discribes the Cornwall settings beautifully. Tiz worth a read, a blooming good who done it. PD James is one of Britains finest crime writers. If you like PD James, check out Minette Walters she's my favourite crime writer.

I was given the book by my mother who found it in Manchester Library. It has now travelled to London with me and I read it and passed it on to a friend at work who likes detective stories.
I enjoyed the book but it wasn't the best book I have ever read!
