An armoured car company is the target of repeated heists. Company leadership is enforcing new measures in order to tighten the security. However, the biggest danger of a new heist lies within the company's own ranks. This is the tie-in edition to the 1978 film starring Terence Donovan, Tony Bonner, Ed Devereaux, Bud Tingwell, Bryan Brown and a huge cast of Australian film and TV stars.
A great novel written by someone who obviously knows a lot about the armoured car/security industry. And for a change the movie adaptation stayed pretty close to the novel.
A crime thriller about an impossible heist, with enough red herrings and dubious characters thrown in to keep any reader interested.
And it's Australian, and uses Australian language, which I also like.
Highly recommended. A keeper.
