This edition contains the entire trilogy. The first book is brilliant -- no debate. I found books two & three to be less than brilliant. There are some wonderful scenes and fascinating turns of phrase. If nothing else, this book is an important part of the 20th century literary canon (if you go in for that sort of thing). Read the book before you see the adaptation for television; the adptation is good but, of course, the book itself is better!
