I have read this book many times and it is always startling and moving. I visited the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam too and encourage others to do the same. Maybe this book will be found by someone who has never read it or maybe it will be found by someone who has but is willing to remember again.

Picked this one up at the unofficial BookCrossing meet-up at the Bad Ass Cafe on 17th Ave SW along with a number of others. Another one to read and pass on to a friend when I'm done.
Wow... just... WOW. This book was amazing. I read it for the first time in the ninth grade for my English class, but it wasn't the same picking it up and reading it again. I got so much more from it without weekly assignments attached. The story of Anne Frank is truly touching, and near the end, it's heart-wrenching because you know that her life is cut short so tragically and so horrifically. There is little suspense - it is, after all, a diary and not written to be entertaining to the reader - but I found it hard to put down anyway. This is definitely a book I would love to read again in time.

I grabbed this book from a BookCrossing meet-up last week, and now I'm passing it along to a friend. I don't actually know if this friend will log it in or not, so who knows where it will end up?

Well, turns out the girl I gave this book to didn't want to release it into the wild, so she brought it back to me. I'll have to find somewhere else to trade/leave/ditch it. :)

Dropping this off at the unofficial BookCrossing meet-up at the Bad Ass Coffee Co on 17th Ave SW. If it's not claimed, it will be left on the book-trade shelf for anyone who wants it.

This book was still on the book exchange shelf when I went to have a yummy americano so I brought it home with me. I will actually release it back into the wild again very shortly. I have read this book three or four times already. It is certainly worthy of another re-read, which is what I was thinking about when I picked it up, but I have so many books to be read I shall pass it on again.
