Read this in March for the Color Challenge (March was "green.") But I didn't get around to releasing it. I enjoyed this book enough to want to leave it somewhere that I know it won't just get tossed in the trash. Still mulling that over.
I did enjoy this story of 2 brothers who are so different. My own 2 sons are very different but they are not at all like the brothers in A Green Desire. The story provides an insight into life during a different time than we are living in now, but we are experiencing some of the same financial struggles that they encountered. I had read Anton Myrer's The Last Convertible a long time ago and vaguely remember not really being able to get into it. A Green Desire was an intriguing story and I was glad that I had picked it to read. Besides it had been in my house since May 2003. It was time to move it along.
