From Amazon:
"Kitty Norville is a midnight-shift DJ for a Denver radio station - and a werewolf in the closet. Sick of lame song requests, she accidentally starts "The Midnight Hour", a late-night advice show for the supernaturally disadvantaged. After desperate vampires, werewolves, and witches across the country begin calling in to share their woes, her new show is a raging success, but it's Kitty who could use some help. With one sexy werewolf-hunter and a few homicidal un-dead on her tail, Kitty may have bitten off more than she can chew..."

Thank god, finally something that flowed and was fun to read. Good supernatural chick-lit. Kitty has a sense of humour, is nicely sarcastic and doesn't take herself to seriously. I liked that in this first book of the series vampires and werewolves are coming out of the closet. In all the other books with this plot line that I've read, the books always start after the fact. It is quite refreshing to see how the critters of the night actually deal with it. Book two is on order and book three is already on my shelf...

I'm sorry to say that I don't get much into the book. I was really curious to read about Kitty but it seems that it's not the kind of book I was eager to read at the moment...
Thanks for sharing anyway !
I love to meet new female characters \o/

This reads very much like a first novel. It felt a little stilted, yet there appears to be a lot of potential for this author and for this series. I look forward to finding out what happens to Kitty and all the other paranormal creatures of the night that have just been outed.

Thanks for sharing this.

I've PM'd LadyKnightNiko and as soon as she gets back to me, I'll be sending it on.

This is on its way to LadyKnightNiko

This was waiting for me at the post before Sociology. As I told Yvensong, I recieved a copy for Yule, which I've already read, so I plan to pass this on to the next reader.

Thank you Yvensong for mailing this to me, and for the extra book! Thank you cathepsut for allowing me to join this ring!

I loved this book, and have since read the second one. I look forward to reading the rest of them, too!

I found this book in my mail box today, and I am so excited to get started with it. Since I finished my last book at the dentist yesterday I can start right in on this one.

*edit* So glad that I got a chance to read this book. I have read a fair bit of werewolf fiction, but this series is interesting in that we get to see the supernatural world "come out" as it were. I have to say I was ultimately a little disappointed with our werewolf/vampire hunter, but perhaps we will hear more from him later in the series. Our heroine Kitty, of course, was kick-ass.

Kitty is safe in Colorado, near her literary home!! I have started a book for a challenge (Jare's Chills and Spills - its Zombie month) but I may have to sneak this one in too, because I have wanted to read it for a long time!

Another book that isn't going to change the world, but really -- what a tedious world it would be if everything out there changed it. I enjoyed the story, I liked Kitty, and I will miss T.J. I look forward to the next books in the series.

I plan to find a good home for this book, and send it off.
