Thanks so much for your generosity, ciloma, in sending this surprise RABCK. I've not read anything by this author, but coincidentally I have another title of hers on my wishlist that was recommended to me. I'll let you know what I think.

Nine stories combined into a novel about the seven Vincent children growing up in a New England Catholic family, their relationship as they become adults, and how they handle tragedy when it strikes.

This was in a box of books I offered in the RABCK forum, and hyphen8 is the winner. Sending it via media mail.

Unfortunately this book will need some work before it can travel again; the pages are starting to fall out.

Needed to find a way to keep the pages in place, so I tried a Japanese stab binding, and ended up starting to read this one...

I read the first couple of stories but decided not to keep going.
