This was my first Vonnegut book and, despite its short length, it is one of the most powerful and memorable books I've ever read. Vonnegut himself was a survivor of the Dresden bombings of the Second World War and this book is his witty, wise and thought-provoking attempt to rationalise his experiences.
Just read it, and make your own mind up - I guarantee that it'll leave you thinking, with a wry smile on your face. Enjoy the book, then please set it free!
