One consistent thing in book recommenders has been that, based on my likes, I should also like Borges. Well, after reading this, I can say they haven''t been wrong, I do like Borges. There''s often an otherworldy quality to the stories, yet they remain rooted to the real world in many ways. There''s little need for suspension of disbelief or logical thinking, Borges''s world works in its own way, which feels absolutely right when immersed in a story.
Thanks, Jaakko196! Will take the book with me to Tampere and CatharinaL.

The bagful of books from Jaakko reached me today when I met Tarna and Kemppu at the Main Library Metso. Thanks!
Incidentally, I'm currently reading Selected Poems by Borges. I expect it's a good moment to start with Aleph as well, after the warm-up with the poems.
