A little more predictable than some of her earlier thrillers, so fairly disappointing. Interesting detail about New York''s theatres, but I couldn''t help feeling that, apart from the obligatory violent confrontation with the perp, the book was dangerously close to Agatha Christie in its formulaic approach. I usually really enjoy Fairstein''s stuff, so felt a little let down after this one.

I caught the book on a picnic bench at Chanonry Point on Black Isle in Scotland whilst looking for dolphins on 19th August 2007. Up to chapter 13 at moment and really enjoying it.First book I've read by this author. Will release book as soon as possible.

This is the first book I've ready by Linda Fairstein and I did enjoy it. There was a lot of detail in the story which at times really helped but at others it seemed to go on a bit and detract from the storyline. Overall I would recommend people to give it a go.
