- Once you finish the book, make another journal entry and let us know what you thought

Journal Entry 9 by UnwrittenLibra from Middleton, Wisconsin USA on Monday, December 24, 2007
Book arrived here in Baltimore, MD, while I was away at college in Amherst, MA. I'm incredibly backlogged and this might not get read for a little while but it came, it's safe, and I am happy.

Journal Entry 10 by UnwrittenLibra from Middleton, Wisconsin USA on Tuesday, January 8, 2008
Hmm...not really that much to say. It wasn't the worst thing I ever read...but it was rather antiquated and hard to understand. Too many characters, not enough action, but I got some of the underlying themes. Mrs. Kilman sure was a great character.

Sending off to iliotropio today.

Journal Entry 11 by UnwrittenLibra from Middleton, Wisconsin USA on Thursday, January 10, 2008

Journal Entry 17 by folha-de-outono from Sintra, Lisboa (distrito) Portugal on Monday, September 8, 2008
I finally finished it!
It took me a while to read it because I felt some parts were a little difficult to get through.
But I insisted and I must say I liked it!

Thanks for sharing, Chiboiler.

Journal Entry 20 by ajsmom from Quesnel, British Columbia Canada on Thursday, December 18, 2008
Received today, all the way from Hong Kong! Thank you!

Journal Entry 21 by ajsmom from Quesnel, British Columbia Canada on Wednesday, January 14, 2009
This book was certainly challenging, but I enjoyed it for its' historical importance, as well as its' descriptions of people. Given that it was the first "book in a day" I enjoyed the flow of passing people and having them included in the story. (That was the historical bit). Once the party got going, Woolf's descriptions seemed to sharpen up - the perceptions of each individual and their little misunderstandings were more deeply emphasized. I also went back and read the introduction which clarified some things for me.

Sorry nobody else really liked it! I will PM GateGypsy now.

Journal Entry 22 by ajsmom from Quesnel, British Columbia Canada on Thursday, January 15, 2009
GateGypsy has read it, so if it's okay with everyone, I will offer this book to the 1001-library.
