1 journaler for this copy...

this book was given to me by a friend to BookCross. I have sworn off Michael Crichton ever since I found out about a stunt he pulled in one of his books, where he used the name of a reporter who disagreed with his viewpoints as the same name as a character, who was a pedophile (and that was the nicest aspect of the character.) I swore then I''d never read another Crichton book, and I am having serious doubts about releasing this one... but since it was given to me to set free, I shall do so. The rating is for the author. I haven''t read the book.

I meant to make a note earlier in this book. I have stopped reading this author as I find him morally reprehensible. Shame really, because I did like some of his works, including this one. Any future books registered to my bookcrossing shelf will be ones given to me to BookCross. I will not put a dime in his pocket ever again. Why? Read on, McDuff. It's taken me a year to go back and label all my Crichton books, but I'm doing it.
