I was taking a late lunch at The White House pub in Guildford and sitting relaxing by the river, when I got chatting with a girl from Lithuania. I was curious what she was reading. She was reading The Zahir by Paul Coelho, which she recommended I read too. I checked out the bookshops and picked up Like The Flowing River, a beautiful collection of vignettes, reflections on life and the meaning of life [see BCID 5360072]
A couple of days later I was able to find a copy of The Alchemist.
