Fluffy YA story. Cute, and I like the concept, but not quite sparkling. I wasn't completely thrilled by a little part of the ending, but overall it was a fun little listen.
This is the first in a trilogy, but you can read it as a stand-alone with no problem. It's a full story that comes to a real ending!

I read this book some time ago, and remember not being that thrilled with it. However, I wanted to give it another chance since I have the sequel waiting to be read. I thought the audiobook might be a good way to do it.

Okay, so I've read this and now I've listened to it. I liked it a little better the second time around, but not by much. I didn't care for the voice of the actress reading, and the voices she used for other characters seemed to make most of them sound like old women smokers.
I will probably go ahead and read the next book in the series since I already have it (that is why I wanted to refresh my memory on the first book by listening to the audio) but beyond that I don't know if I will read any more of the series. Depends on if I like the next one or not.

EDIT: This was picked up by lizziwhizzi a while back... I've moved a few times since then and they got seperated a bit. I'm pretty sure I know where the missing ones are, but instead of more of a hold up going thru the boxes in the storage shed, I had a copy sent to her from bn.com
