My sister gave me this the other day.
A sensational New York Times bestseller that was made into a CBS-TV miniseries, Night Sins has confirmed Tami Hoag's reputation as the new modern master of suspense.
This gripping tale unfolds in a peaceful Minnesota town, where crime is something that just doesn't happen. But when a young boy disappears, it marks the beginning of a unspeakable nightmare. There are no witnesses, no clues—only a note, cleverly taunting, casually cruel. Has a cold-blooded kidnapper struck? Or is this the reawakening of a long-quiet serial killer?
Now, a tough-minded investigator on her first make-or-break case, and a local cop who fears that big city evils have invaded his small town, are hunting for a madman. Together, they must outsmart a killer who knows no bounds...and protect a town that may never feel safe again.

Putting into Booklady331's Already Been Crossed BookBox
This book enjoyed a brief stay in San Jose, California before continuing its travels in the Already Book Crossed (ABC) bookbox.
This book came home in my random shrinking bookbox.
Adding to the potluck bookbox.
This book stopped here for a short visit in Woodstock, Georgia. It is still travelling in Bookstogive's Potluck Bookbox.
I have a copy of this book to read: Night Sins - TBR

This book returned in the Potluck Bookbox. I haven't read this one and I like the author's writing normally so I will give it a try before moving it on. Thanks for including it!
Review:
This was a very good story. Josh, a child of 8 has been abducted from just outside his school and even with all the police searches and reporters all over the story the only clues are notes the kidnappers are leaving. A suspect is arrested but he kills himself and then it seems the police finally get a break and find another suspect and arrest him and then Josh is returned home...who brought the boy home?
Lots of twists and turns. This is book #1 in the Deer Lake series.
