I picked this up at the Book Fair at work yesterday! Also on the 1001 Must Read Books list!
I've just read Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency and enjoyed it so much that I've decided to read this sequel as my next read (#16 of 2022).
I've just finished Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to read this sequel right away. It's also featured in Peter Boxall's 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die so it's good to get another 1001 book completed.
I really enjoyed it, it's very quirky like it's predecessor and I loved the introduction of the Norse Gods. If you want something extraordinary and bizarre yet brilliantly written this and it's prequel fit the bill perfectly.

Read the first book a couple of years ago so going to re-read that and then this as I enjoyed the first story, plus this is on the 1001 list so will be good to cross another one off!
Like the first Dirk Gently book, I really enjoyed this. Once again, it was totally daft but so witty. Whilst the main story was about the Norse Gods, the bit that had me laughing out loud was the battle Dirk had with his cleaner over the fridge, the expression of it was just brilliant!
