A small-time fraud in prosecutor Ben Kaplan's jurisdiction escalates into a front-page sensation and Kaplan's life is made uneasy. A raid on a credit-card scam group threatens the stability of a community and suddenly, the biggest case of Ben's career has become a personal matter of life or death.
23 pages into the story and just had that feeling that I wasn't going to like this. Maybe it's because of the counterfeit money story, maybe because of the way it is building up, I just didn't feel interested. Off it goes to new places soon, to meet a more interested reader...

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
I am having a majour cull for all books that have been caught and not read in 8+ years. This is one of the casualties of my destashing for the year, and going in a box together with other books to the charity shop of Barnsley Animal Rescue.
