Tense thriller which I hope my NSSSBTSSS partner will enjoy.

The main characters in this book are very distinctive, each having his or her own personality. I found it really interesting the way the author reached into the past of each main character and slowly built up the picture of how the past may have attributed to the character's present personality. The past is also used to slowly build a picture of how the characters are interlinked. Although the book was enjoyable I did find it an excruciatingly slow read from which I was easily distracted. I can't count the number of times I put this book down in the middle of a sentence and wandered off to do something else. This is a great book if you don't have a short attention span, but if you are looking for something fast paced, this isn't it!
