Another new author for me. This time a couple of geriatric detectives (Bryant and May). A couple of old sparks (get it?) Anyhow this is their first case, and it's set during the Blitz in London with flashforwards to the present.
I read it at just the right time. The story is set around the Palace Theatre in London. I had just seen a show at the Palace, and had been in London for a few weeks visiting Churchill's War Cabinet (bunker) rooms and getting immersed in the whole Blitz thing. Nice serendipity.
The book? A nice style, good read, and if you love theatre, you'll dig it.
