I received this last week from my sister, peggypenguin for my birthday. When she saw a "new cat mystery series" she had to get them!
c. 2007 -- 251 pages -- Trade Paperback -- Book 2 in the Jacques and Cleo, Cat Detectives mystery series -- A Feline Mystery -- Suspense -- Cats -- Cat owners -- Motion picture locations -- Crimes against Motion picture actors and actresses -- Murder Investigation -- Gulf Shores (Alabama)
Back Cover: Hollywood comes into the lives of the newest residents of White Sands, Alabama. Jake Novak and Kate Forrest have settled into the beautiful beach house left to them by a distant relative. Cat-hating Jake busies himself working on his novel in his upstairs apartment, while Kate gets involved in a beach ministry to young people.
When New Leaf Productions arrives to film a movie, the locals are fascinated by the glamour of the actors. But when the murder of a cast member is followed quickly by a second killing, the town of White Sands becomes worried. Kate's cats, Jacques and Cleo, are already experienced sleuths, so when they are recruited to be in the movie, Jacques throws himself into nosing around for clues -- and a murderer.

Going through my bookshelves to lower Mt. TBR. I don't think I'll ever get to read this book, although it looks good. I'm sending it to rainydayz66 in WA through BookMooch.
