Really enjoyed this. Loved the style of writing and the historical detail. Unfortunately because there was a lot of historical detail I felt the story got a little lost in it at times, but still a book I would recommend.

I enjoyed the style and atmosphere of this book but felt it lost its way a little in the middle. I’ll be on the lookout for more books by this author.

Thank you- what a long journey. I can see this was posted 6 months ago. I can’t remember how I came to be posted this. I’ve trawled the forums without success- was it a Wishlist tag? Or something else? Nevertheless the first few chapters read in a waiting room as I waited for my flu vax are wonderful.
