Ellen Streater and her brother, Corey, are going to die. Actually, they are going to die every night all week long, playing parts in the Historical Society's Hallowe'en Haunted House. It's all for a good cause - the Historical Society is raising money to turn the old Clayton House into a museum. Everyone says the creaky old mansion really is haunted. Ellen doesn't believe it - she knows there has to be some other explanation for all the strange things that keep happening. But Ellen never expects the ghost of Clayton House to appear to her - and lead her into a nightmare beyond her wildest dreams.
