Book Description:

Investigative reporter Angel Buchanan dug up a whopping surprise: The late "Artist of the Heart" Stephen Whitney - famous for his family values - was the father who'd abandoned her when she was four. And there's nothing like the reading of a will to bring people out of the woodwork, especially relatives you never knew you had...

...Such as the grieving widow and her sexpot twin sister...and a hunky man Angel is thrilled to learn is not any kind of cousin at all. He's C.J. Jones, the legendary lawyer determined to keep her quiet about her late, not-so-great deadbeat dad's secret life.

Angel knows he'll try to woo her into submission, but how can she resist? The setting: Tranquility House, a remote retreat containing plenty of private rooms and romantic hideaways. But how far will C.J. go to get what he wants? And, for that matter, how far will Angel?

My Review: This was fast, witty, quirky and fun!!

This is a hardcover book from the Doubleday Book Club.

saw the catch journals for a couple of books from the shelves of the OBCZ i manage when i checked email last night. then saw release notices as well and just assumed they were my neighbor etmandm who asked just this week what was okay to leave on the shelves there. was so excited to see that these were left by a brand new bookcrosser who was introduced to the concept by our shelf here! and was even more excited when one of the books (Mermaids Singing) was one then left at Soho! i've been wanting to read it so i just hoped it would still be on the shelves this morning by the time i got there when running errands. luckily it was, along with this one and one other i will read!

i'll be taking one of the 3 with me when i go to tucson and phoenix on business this week and hope to have time to read and release it in one of those cities so it can do some more traveling and be enjoyed by other readers!

welcome JennyC1230. don't hesitate to PM me if you have bookcrossing questions or if you would like to join the small group of bookcrossers who meet informally and irregularly at Soho about once ever 4-6 weeks.
