Received this book in the mail today. Thank you, linnefaulk! I can't wait to read it.
I loved this book - one of the top five best books I've read all year. I tried to read it slowly so that it wouldn't end. I gave the book to my sister to read. When she gives it back, I will send to a BCer who has it on his or her wish list.

Obtained this book at either a bookswap in one of several pubs or shops that do free or cheap swaps in our area of Alicante Province. A very good read, and I read it rather quickly. The way she refers to her first "trick" is spontaneous but realised, compared with the calculated manner of Nancy in The Diary of a Manhattan Callgirl, but we don't know where Astrid goes, unless there is a sequel which I'm going to check on before I let it go
