Journal Entry 1 by MadamMuck from Longreach, Queensland Australia on Sunday, July 1, 2007
Another orphan retrieved from Mum & Dad's house.

From the back cover:

In February of his forty-fourth year, award-winning journalist David McCumber went to work on Birch Creek ranch in Montana, to become - albeit for only four seasons - one of that fabled breed, the American cowboy. This is his account of that year. An adventure of the body, spirit and senses, it is a celebration of the breathtaking Montana countryside and an honest appreciation of the men and women who work it.

Picked up at the combined GC/Bris/Darwin BC meet :) I seem to be collecting a cowboy theme today, having also picked up 'Brokeback Mountain' hahaha. I have previously read and really enjoyed 'The Rancher Takes a Wife' which seems a similar theme, so I'm looking forward to reading this. Adding to Mt TBR thanks MadamMuck!
