Savvy young LA P.I. Regan Reilly faces an unusual challenge when she gets an urgent phone call from Lilac Weldon. owner--with her 2 hippie brothers--of a run-down California winery "Altered States". Lilac asks Regan to find her daughter, Whitney, in time to attend the wedding of Lilac's wealthy aunt Lucretia Standish, a 93-year-old silent film star. The Weldons have learned from a secret source that each family member will recieve a gift of 2 million from Lucretia--but only if they all attend the wedding.

Update 2/27/09: After picking this up on several occasions now, I've determined that this one really isn't for me (*love* her Mother's writing though!), so rather than have it collect dust on my bookshelf, I'll be moving this along shortly...in hopes that it will find a loving home with someone who will enjoy it. :0)
