Released 16 yrs ago (6/30/2007 UTC) at London Literature Festival in South Bank, Greater London United Kingdom
WILD RELEASE NOTES:
What a strange book! Funnier than I expected (poking fun at narrow-minded parochial English fundamentalism when faced with the fact of lesbian love), but with some strange diversions and detours. I wasn't at all sure about the dissertation on "history" in the chapter headed Deuteronomy (I thought she'd missed the point about historians being vital for history, but there you go...). It wasn't a page-turner, but was strangely captivating - I enjoyed it!

Thank you so much, Flambard!
This is a very good book. I read it not too long ago on a bookring. I didn't think I'd like it, but by the time I finished read it, I not only liked it, but I also started acquiring more books by the same author.

Update June 8: I released this at today's meetup at the Pour House in Westminster. LarkOnAPost journaled it before I could make release notes! Hope you enjoy, Lark. It was fabulous to meet you.
It's a pretty book, and it's very thin, so it will travel with me back to Oregon where I'll try to find the right reader for it.
