This book is released as part of a fairly massive purge of books, intended just to slim down my library. This doesn't mean that I didn't like it, no. I am, by my very nature, a hoarder of books. I buy them faster than I read them - though always second hand - and I generally read them pretty dashed fast. Today, I have decided to be very, very, cruel to myself, and throw many books to the wind. This is one of them. For such a reason, the journal entry for each book will be pretty small...Not only because I want to get through them quickly, but because if I start to think about any of them much, I'll just cave in and take them back, like a lover who hurt me so much in the past, but who... etc.

None of these books have release notes as yet, because I've no idea where I'll release them. If I haven't read the book, I just never got round to it, and feel a purge will stop my shelves looking at me furiously, full of things I haven't yet quite felt in the mood for.

I found this book yesterday (26/08/2012) at the summit of Dun-I, on Iona. It was wedged into a gap in the summit cairn - very clever! This is just the sort of book I like to read, so I'm really pleased to have found it. I'm familiar with Bookcrossing and have released several books myself, so will be sure to send this one on its way once I have finished reading it too.
