Thank you madmadge. What a sweet cat on the cover. It's face looks just like one of my cats.
If you are a cat lover you will love this book. It is a look at cats behaviour and why they do things. Also how you can help your cat if they are doing something they shouldn't.

Received it! Oh, what a beautiful book and what a beautiful cat on the front cover. I just came home from work, opened the mail and saw this book. I started to read and had a hard time putting the book down because I have to make dinner for hubby and myself...
But, as madmadge journalled, I also think this is a book to cherish, look into it once in a while. We recently bought a caravan on a campsite so we can go there in the weekends and on vacation. I think I will take this book to the campsite and leave it there to read in it everytime we are there.
Thank you very much pinkydinky!

Finished! What a nice book; I loved it. Reading about all the distressed cats and how mostly the owners were the cause for it, made me realise how lucky we were with our own cats. Nothing Vicky Halls mentions in the book happened to us (or the cats), luckily.
We are now without cats in our household. All four have passed away at very old ages (from 18 to 22!) and although we miss them at this point we are not considering taking new ones. But it is tempting, seeing the lovely pictures of Vicky Halls cats in the book :-).
This book will be send to boekenspookje.

Today I received this beautiful book in my mailbox. The paper around it was torn open at one side, but thank goodness the book was still inside and in one piece. Thanks for sending this to me, Joanazinha.

What a lovely book to read. Vicky didn't just make a list of cat-problems and what to do about it, instead she illustrates each case with one or more background stories. She also has humor and I found her remarks sometimes very funny and to the point. Minoes, the little 8-year old moggy that lives with me, has always been a very frightened cat. Although she is used to me and my son, she is terrified for everyone else. I now try some of the tips of Vicky to keep her active, because she tends to stay upstairs in my room.

Vandaag lag het boek in mijn bus! Ben heel benieuwd, al stukjes even snel gelezen en dat beloofd wat!
It took a while but I finally finished the book. As the journallers before me already wrote, it's not a book you read from cover to cover. But I sure had fun reading the different stories about the cats and owners. I know a lot more now about cat-behaviour! As we were thinking about adopting a 2nd cat, the chapter of the multi-cat household especially interested me. In the end we decided not to get a 2nd cat, as our cat seems to be quite happy on it's own! I'm going to PM Galadrial for het adress.
In the mail to 1972Galadriel!
