In my goody bag at the unconvention - thank you, I've wanted to read this for ages

I can't quite make my mind up about this, I loved it at the beginning, but it seemed to stall a bit and I found the main character a bit irritating. I do think though that he was supposed to be tragic and certainly not lovable though so maybe it's just me.

I think I would have enjoyed it more if it had been a little shorter. Still a good read though and I really liked the prose.
