I started reading "Communion" about 22 years ago; "Communion" is Strieber's work about extra-terrestrials and their contact with human beings, Strieber being one of those contacted. I remember I didn't finish it, but don't remember if I didn't because I thought it was so far-fetched and "how could that happen?!?!?"

So here I am twenty-some years later, reading a fictional account of alien contact and the plans to save the human race and their own race, all through one 11-year-old boy. Or are they intent on destroying us?

Lots of detail (which from what I understand is factual insomuch as Strieber's claims of contact are basis for them). I guess it says a lot about how much I've changed that I don't dismiss the whole thing out of hand; maybe Mr. S really lived through this?
