7 journalers for this copy...
Journal Entry 1 by candy-is-dandy from Great Bardfield, Essex United Kingdom on Wednesday, June 27, 2007
I have a couple of copies of this book and though I haven't read it myself yet I'm passing this one on to suedo who won it in a bookswap for books in the BBC 100 Great Reads List.
I've read this and heartily recommend it, it is an amazing book. I read it at school and again about 2 years ago.
It is one of the 1001 boks to read before you die.
I plan to offer it as a book ray.
It is one of the 1001 boks to read before you die.
I plan to offer it as a book ray.
So the idea of a book ray is:
- PM me to join and state your shipping preferences.
- When I have at least 5 people, I'll (probably) post the book to the first person.
- Please journal the book when it arrives and when you've sent it on.
- When you've read it, please PM the next person on the list for their address.
- Bear in mind other people want to read it, so don't put it at the bottom of your TBR pile (6 weeks is a reasonable timeframe imo)!
When I have enough participants I'll sort the order to suit as many people's postage preferences as possible.
And the ray so far is:
Peamartian, UK, post UK
Supertellp, UK, post anywhere
Gingergeoff, UK, post anywhere
PussInBooks, UK, post anywhere
lilifin, UK or Germany, post within europe
GateGypsy, Canada, post anywhere

I really enjoyed this book. I've been meaning to read it for years, but this was my first time, so to speak. Once I got started I found it very hard to put down. A great story, very well told.
I put the book in the post to Supertellp a few days ago so hopefully it will arrive with her soon...
Thanks for sharing.

I received this today from supertellup, thank you very much, I#m looking forward to reading this as I have heard so much about it.
A very good book. I was a bit apprehensive about this one, as it had a reputation to live up to, but I was not dissapointed. The story was excellent and even though the ending was a little inevitable, it was well played out.
I will PM the next person on the ring and send on.

What a book. Never stops being good! This is probably the fourth time I've read and I love it even more each time. An absolute must-read, it stands alone as a stunning book. Off to lilifin next.
Thanks for sending! Will be read as soon as possible.
What a great book! It took me a few pages to get into it, but then I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the language. Thanks for sharing! It will move on as soon as possible!
GateGypsy already had another copy of the book, are there any further readers? Otherwise, I will try to find some soon..
