I've never read a Janet Evanovich novel, but she is great fun so far. I am on page 50 and having a blast. The characters are a riot... especially Lula, the retired "Pro". She reminds me of the prostitute from the "Carpool Lane" episode of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'.
