Murphy's Law (A Molly Murphy Mystery)
5 journalers for this copy...
I love Rhys Bowen and the Molly Murphy series. I got this book from someone at paperbackswap.com to give to my mom. She really like Molly and is looking forward to the second book in the series.
I am releasing this book into bookpatch's Mostly Cozy Bookbox. It's the first book in the Molly Murphy series.
Taken from bookpatch's cozy mystery book box. Looks interesting and I always like to get the first book in a series to try it out.
Adding to the Wrap It Up bookbox.
This book returned in the Wrap It Up Bookbox #3 with the first line of:
"That mouth of yours will be getting you into big trouble one day".
I have never heard of this author or this book so I am looking forward to giving it a try. Thanks for including it!
ps. My maiden name was Murphy!

Hmm... this one didn't quite turn out to be my cup of tea. It took me a long time to read it, even though it is a short book, which always tells me something. I found it a bit slow-moving and couldn't really relate to the main character, Molly Murphy. The mystery portion of the book was fine, but never completely pulled me in. The most interesting parts of the book for me were the historical tidbits about immigrant life in New York City.
This is a popular series, so I seem to be in the minority here. I will look for the next reader for this book, and I'm sure there is a good chance they will enjoy it.

Thank you ReallyBookish for this book. I look forward to reading it and hope I find it more interesting than you did...LOL!
I enjoyed the book. I found it sad that the police in England and America are painted in such a poor light...lots of corruption. I enjoyed the mystery.
