Only an okay read. The story is told from all of the characters' perspectives, so there are no surprises. Despite an absence of foreshadowing (a personal peeve, if over done), everything that happens, is expected. This book is one of a series, based around characters, who just didn't come alive for me, perhaps because they were already established, in previous outings. There are a few flaws or omissions, in the questions asked of witnesses and the intuitive and deductive reasoning, of the central characters, tests the reader's acceptance. The tension, during the escape scene, of the heroine, was effective but overdone, to the point of credibility.
