Born on a Blue Day

this is a truly remarkable book giving an insight into the mind of a person that has an extremly rare form of Asperger's syndrome. I found it to be a very uplifting read. you even get to find out the name of the person that Dustin Hoffman's character is based on in the film the Rain Man. I found the bits about maths hard going but it is not a subject that I enjoy. But you can also read how this remarkable man beat the dealer at Black Jack in Las Vegas against fantastic odds and how he learnt to speak Icelandic in a Week, just brilliant.

I have been terrible at journalling books I have read! ( And I would say recently, but pretty usre I did read this in 2016...). Anyway, from memory I enjoyed reading this book, which is written is a fairly straight forward (not literary) style, but with a lot of heart and sincerity. A nice insight into the life of a unique person,
