This book surprised me. I thought I wouldn't like it as much as I did. I've never been into the party scene or the worship celebrities mindset so I was a little annoyed with the characters that were since I thought they were shallow. Bette, the main character was completely likable though.



*SPOILER* I would have liked Sammy to have at least maintained some sort of contact during the three months at the end. I felt that he should have wanted to include her in the opening of his restaurant. It seems that he only called her after he found out who his investors were.

This book was mailed today to ramson for her month in The Chapters Exchange after I saw it on her wishlist. I hope you enjoy it!!

Finished this last night and wasn't very fond of it. I did like it better than The Devil Wears Prada by the same author but not much. I can't figure out with all the really good chicklit writers there are out there that these books keep getting so much hype.
