My husband I went camping this weekend at Lynx Lake in Prescott, AZ. So, I thought to myself, what better book to bring? We didn't go a whole lot of hiking... but it seemed appropriate anyway :)

Overall, I thought the book was great! I read it in just over a day. I think I liked the first part of the trip the best, I think having Katz along with him made for a little more entertainment. Stop reading here if you plant on reading it! I was kind of surprised that he didn't hike the whole thing! Not that I blame it, it sounded really really hard, but I was really hoping that he would! I also didn't like that sometimes through the trip, he would just go home for the night! I guess this is why I liked the first section better - it was real hiking!

Anyway, I love Bill Bryson and can't wait to read more by him!

This one is going to bsliv1219 in Ohio. I hope she likes it as much as I did!! :)

Well, I read it and it did not disappoint. I laughed out loud many times. Now my mom is reading it and then I'm sending it to my brother. I'll definately be reading more books by Bill Bryson.
