Adultery is naot a typical Jane Austen theme, but when it disturbs the relatively peaceful household at mansfield park, it has quite unexpected results

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
To be released during the New Year’s meeting 2018.
I studied this at school and our whole class was annoyed with the teacher for telling us this book was full of sexual imagery and that the incident with the haha was the crossing of some line. We never let her tell us just what she meant by that! Obviously Jane Austen wasn’t writing about sex. Had they invented it back then? I really should read my own copy of this again.
This book has been released as part of the BookCrossing Ultimate Challenge - read and release books, with extra points for a monthly theme

A Wordsworth Classic, and one I haven't read yet at that. I'm looking forward to reading it; thanks ladies!
Amazing how a book from 1814 can keep you captivated. I loved it and it made me realise how some things have changed for the better. Imagine having to include a man's prospects before falling in love, lest you starve. Imagine not being able to work and having to sit at home all day or you'll be thought of as having no morals, haha! I'm still not sure what A haha is, by the way.
I didn't notice any sex or sexual imagery in the book, I think in that respect times have changed as well.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Enjoy!
This book was still on the table at the end of the 2018 Castricum Meeting. I took it home, but I have such a huge Mount to be Read already (and a copy of this book might already be part of it, as I do know there's a Jane Austen book there), that I think I'll put it in our OBCZ/Minibieb first to try to find a reader for it there.
