The story is compelling enough: you'll be carried along and it's a good read. This is an uncorrected proof, too, which is kind of fun. Enjoy!

Not the best book I've ever read, but worth a look for the unusual storyline. I found the gritty descriptions of poverty on a Reservation to be well-written, compelling and disturbing. Matter-of-factly sad with fascinating touches of magic that ultimately do not dispel the depressing atmosphere.
