The Sinister Pig

I enjoy Hillermans work because I always learn something new about the American Southwest, something new about the Navajo Indian culture, and because he writes a good story.
I especially enjoyed this one because it takes place in part in areas very near to where I live. Lordsburg, Deming, and even Las Cruces (!) are mentioned several times and are actualy part of the whole thing. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that I *have* to read series novels in order, and that didn't happen here. I learned stuff about Jim Chee and Joe Leaphorn that I would have liked to have learned more slowly, by actually reading about them as they happened. Oh, well.
I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.
