Stories about life of the ordinary people in Prague in around 1850. Thin little book but interesting to read if one is interested in older literature. "Malá Strana was at the time a dreamy part of the city with its narrow and winding streets, the interlocking palaces of the aristocracy, churces and houses dinly lit in the evenings."
