I didn't get into this really. I sort of knew what was coming at the end! But some passages were quite nice. I like the idea that we all exist in our own individual worlds, in our own forms of madness if you like. Some interesting concepts but I don't think I'm destined to be a lifetime Coelho fan. Planning to start a bookray with this one.

I enjoyed this a lot more than The Alchemist. An uplifting tale told with sensitivity and humour.
PMing the next participant.

Oops! I sent this off a few days ago. Sorry for the delay. Damn weather's kept me indoors for ages!

Journal Entry 6 by Fiellu from Joensuu, Pohjois-Karjala / Norra Karelen Finland on Thursday, July 12, 2007
Got home after being away for a week and this book was waiting at my door. It was nice to get something else instead of bills. Hopefully will get my hands on this book within the next couple of weeks. Thanks NICNIC2 and shnedwards!

Journal Entry 7 by Fiellu from Joensuu, Pohjois-Karjala / Norra Karelen Finland on Sunday, July 22, 2007
I enjoyed this book a lot. Was a bit suspicious about Coelho as didn't really like the one book I've read from him before (Zahir). In the beginning of this book I was also irritated as Coelho had written himself into this tale. Yet the book got better towards the end and I forgot my irritation.

I found some good thought from this book; Life is what we make of it; Society sets the rules for what is normal and what is not; People go against nature due to lack of courage to be different... etc. The end was to be guessed though. Could hold onto this book if it wasn't a raybook... I might have to change my thoughts about Coelho. :-)

Will send it forward as soon as I get the info from the next person in line. --> SENT 25th of July.

This book sounded interesting, but I found it just a little too "preachy" (for want of a better word) for my liking.
Will post the book on to jubby on Monday (27 August), as froggirlwendy asked to be skipped.

Received from Stubee, I'm looking forward to reading this. Thanks NICNIC2 for fitting me in, I promise I'll pass it on as soon as possible so as not to hold up the ray!

Journal Entry 16 by KT-J on Wednesday, November 14, 2007
I enjoyed this book a lot. I liked the style of writing and enjoyed the different stories of each of the characters. The concepts were really interesting as well regarding madness, courage and society's norms. A well put together book!

I've got juicy-comrade's address so will be sending this off in the post shortly. Thanks again for letting me read this!

Edit 15/11/07: Posted today.
