If you enjoy thinking and reading about literature, and if you were drawn to Derrida but put off by the excesses of turgid Theory, and if you remain excited by Derrida's legacy, then I think you'll be pleased to have come across this text.

Julian Wolfrey's writing is what Helene Cixous might call 'humble work' - instead of mastering his subject, he listens, he hears, and gives himself up to be translated by the text.

This, for me, is reading Victorian literature. 'Little Dorrit's "Land of Fragments"' is really special - and, in a spooky way, one can almost hear F. R. Leavis (in the soft tone that would come over him when he was reading rather than fighting)

I'm looking forward to hearing about your response.
