Lyrical and imaginative, but rooted in reality, SISTER OF MY HEART is not as thoroughly engrossing nor as emotionally satisfying as Divakaruni's MISTRESS OF SPICES. Still, I enjoyed it. I'd say more, but I've read so much since this one, I can't remember all of it. ;)
